The Ernest N. Morial New Orleans Exhibition Hall Authority (“the Authority”) is a political subdivision of the State of Louisiana. New Orleans Public Facility Management, Inc. (“NOPFMI”) is a quasi-public body that is charged with the responsibility of managing the Ernest N. Morial Convention Center-New Orleans (“ENMCCNO”) on a day-to-day basis. The Authority is requesting sealed proposals to for Waste Removal Servicers. Sealed Proposals will be received at the New Orleans Ernest N. Morial Convention Center, Contract Division, Mezzanine Level, Hall B; 900 Convention Center Boulevard, New Orleans, LA 70130 or may be submitted electronically at purchasing.mccno.com until Tuesday, February 21st, 2017 at 10:00 a.m., at which time proposals received on time and in the correct location will be considered for contract award. Proposals will not be accepted after said time and date. A Mandatory Pre-Proposal Conference will be held on Tuesday, February 7th, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. in the Purchasing Department Conference Room, located on the 1st floor of the New Orleans Ernest N. Morial Convention Center near the Henderson Street Employee’s Entrance next to Hall J. Monday through Friday, holidays not included. In employing first class mail or by courier service, Proposers must arrange directly with the courier for pickup, delivery, and payment of all associated costs. The Successful Proposer shall furnish a good and solvent Performance Bond acceptable to the Owner in the amount of fifty percent (50%) of the amount of the Contract Sum awarded for the faithful performance of its duties. The Successful Proposer shall also furnish a Labor and Material Payment Bond with a good, solvent, and sufficient surety acceptable to the Owner in an amount of fifty percent (50%) of the Contract Sum awarded for the payment by the Contractor to claimants. A contract shall be awarded to the Proposer whose Proposal Price is the lowest and offering is complete and responsive to all terms and conditions outlined in the Proposal Documents, without discrimination on grounds of race, color, sex, or national origin. Proposers are advised that request for copies of the Proposal shall not be accepted within two (2) calendar days prior to the Proposal opening date indicated above.
