"By the People" Debate Series

The “By The People” Debate Series, a dynamic, community-powered platform uplifting the voices, needs, and priorities of Black and Brown New Orleanians, kicks off August 12 with City Council District A and concludes with the Mayoral Debate on September 9. Hosted by the Urban League of Louisiana in partnership with several community groups, including The Collaborative and the Collaborative Community Initiative (CCI). Together, we're confronting power, policies, and progress in Orleans Parish. Join us for a series of crucial, high-impact debates that put our communities first. Because leadership should be decided by the people — for the people.
